Rumba Retreat

February 2-4th 2007

Presented by Rumberos & Mountain Rythym at Tangle Foot Lodge.

This will be an entire weekend of drumming, dancing and jamming... where you will learn more about my culture.

Rumba is a style of music that originated from Cuba and is growing in popularity world wide. Here is your opportunity learn more about it.

This retreat will help define the true essence of this particular style of music. We will concentrate primarily on the basic patterns of the different Rumba rhythms with the use of traditional Cuban percussion instruments such as congas, bongos & timbales -- from basic hand techniques to actually performing. Open to beginners and all drumming levels.
